Less than 30 km from the Spanish border, Argelès is located at the foot of Albères, last part of the Pyrénées mountains and has a 7 km fine sand beach.

Spare time and discovery

At the village, you will appreciate the typical Catalan atmosphere. The station offers a wide range of entertaining opportunities : boat trips to discover the coast until Spain, deep-sea diving, sea kayak,
karting, tennis, riding, bowling, casino... You will also enjoy the quality of Pyrenean natural spaces, the markets of Céret, Elne, Sorède.

The 7-km wide, sandy beach, clear waters and the Albères Mountains dominating the beach. On the seafront, a 12-ha pine forest and a 3-km tree-fringed promenade for strolling around. To the south, in the direction of Collioure, the harbour and this small paradise, le 'Racou', (corner in Catalan)... This blue and green décor provides a beautiful background for the numerous sporting and water activities offered by the the seventeen beach clubs.

In the autumn and springtime, the beach has plenty of appeal with the sun always present! The light is softer, the beach less... packed, and the leisure activities offered by beach clubs more accessible. The delightful rocky coves of Portells and Ouille, serving as a link with the rocky coast, offer peace and tranquillity...

At the foot of the Albères (1157m), where the Pyrenees plunge into the sea, the village perfectly compbines art of living, green tourism and pleasures of the beach. Texts referred to it in the 9th century, the fortified town was connected with the kings of Aragon and Majorca in the 13th and 14th centuries, the village became a French territory in 1659… Today it is a vibrant village that makes the most of its advantages and turns tourism industry into high-quality services.

Arrival hours : 5pm to 8pm on saturdays in July/August- Other days from 5pm to 6pm
Departure hours : from 7am to 9am in Summer otherwise after 10 am
If you arrive outside these hours, inform the reception to agree the process to follow
Each client should return the accomodation perfectly clean (empty garbage, clean and tidy dish, blankets fold, furniture in place, sweeped and cleaned floor...). Sanitary desinfection is not a final cleaning but a normal treatment between each location.

Access : Highway A9, exit Perpignan Sud, then take the bypass to Argelès. Exit NR 10"Argelès Taxo d'Amont". At the traffic circle, 1st exit on the right, follow the "Pepinières" then 1st left. The camping is on your left, at about 500m.

ACCOMMODATION

As part pf this package, you will stay in a self catering mobile home located in Camping La Pinede Enchantee.

Your base will be in Argelès sur Mer, situated at 30 km from the Spanish border and on the foot of the Pyrenees and 91 km from Girona.

BOAT DIVES

Everybody will have 4 scubas dive each.

The dive will take place any afternoon except on Sunday. Equipement such as Bottle weights are included. All necessary insurance as included as well.

Starting point: Argeles sur Mer to Banyuls

You decide on your arrival when you want to have your dives. This holiday is suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Depending of your experience in diving you will be allocated an appropriate instructor.

JACUZZI

As part of this package all adults are allowed access to the jacuzzi once a day for unlimited time.

FREE CHILDREN

Up to 2 children can come free. Boat dives for them are not free nor will they have access to the jacuzzi area.
